We are pleased to welcome on board Mr. Azhar Rizvi as Professor of Practice & Director Center for Entrepreneurial Impact (CEI), Salim Habib University.

Azhar Rizvi is a trailblazing entrepreneur and ecosystem builder, celebrated for revolutionizing Pakistan's entrepreneurial landscape through collaborative partnerships between government, academia, and industry. His initiatives have empowered entrepreneurs, universities, and industries to drive innovation and growth at a national scale.

His entrepreneurial journey commenced with the founding of THK Solutions in 2000. Recognizing Pakistan's immense human resource potential, he pioneered entrepreneurial education programs, forging collaborations with esteemed institutions such as MIT's Entrepreneurship Center and Harvard All World. He also served on the Global Board of MIT Enterprise Forum from 2011 to 2014.

He has initiated numerous startup competitions and business acceleration programs across Pakistan, fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.

In partnership with the Federal Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan, Azhar developed a policy framework for establishing Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORICs) and business incubation centers at major universities nationwide. This initiative has enabled universities to become hubs for innovation and entrepreneurship, driving economic growth and development.

Azhar Rizvi is also the celebrated author of the book Entrepreneuring Pakistan: 27 Stories of Struggle, Failure and Success.
