World Autism Awareness Day is about creating awareness regarding people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and of spreading the belief that those who are autistic are just unique in a different way, and not any less than us.
They are equally capable of contributing to the global workforce and we must work for their equal inclusion and acceptance in all walks of life.
As Alan Rosales said: “We need to learn to accept and celebrate our differences. And we need to continue our research on Autism Spectrum Disorder in order to understand how we can best lend a helping hand.”
