A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today between Salim Habib University and Sapphire Consulting Services.

The MoU, signed in order to strengthen SHU's academia-industry linkages by building and maintaining a productive collaborative relationship with Sapphire Consulting Services, intends to facilitate the University's Computer Science students by arranging field visits, workshops, seminars, conferences, and other events for them that give them exposure and practical learning as well as a real-time insight into the industry and by providing them with internship and job placement opportunities.

The signing ceremony was presided over by Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan, Vice Chancellor SHU and Engr. Muhammad Rizwan Ali, Director Emerging Techs. and Trainings, Sapphire Consulting Services. Registrar SHU Dr. Kaleem Raza Khan, and Mr. Salman Qamar, VP HR and BPO (SCS) also graced the ceremony with their presence.

We are especially thankful to our Dean Faculty of Information Technology Dr. Rizwan Ahmed Khan, and HOD Faculty of Information Technology Dr. Sheeraz Arif, without whose dedicated efforts this MoU would not have been possible.
