The Office of Career Placement and Industrial Liaison, Salim Habib University, organized an event called Head Up with HR, which is the signature initiative of the Office.

The event, held on Saturday, September 10, in collaboration with HR DOST Pakistan, brought together HR executives from multiple renowned organizations in Pakistan, and included an MoU Signing Ceremony between Salim Habib University and HR Dost, as well as a brilliant panel discussion on bridging the academia-industry gap.

Panelists were Ms. Faiza Tariq, Group Head People, HRSG, Ms. Mehreen Umair, Director HR, Karachi Marriott Hotel , Ms. Sidra Mahmood Jafri, People Development Manager, Learning & Development, Smollan Group Pakistan, Mr. Zain-ul-Abideen, Corporate HR Manager, Bosch Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd, and our very own Dr. Muhammad Hussain Habib, Director Marketing, HR, & Admin, Salim Habib University. The panel discussion was moderated by Mr. Ayaz Ali, Head HR Operations, IR & Employee Relations, Burque Corporation - Pvt. Ltd. and Founder HR Dost, and Dr. Shamaila Burney, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, Salim Habib University.

Head Up with HR was a great opportunity for students to network and interact with leading industry professionals, and we look forward to more events of a similar nature!
