Pinktober 2022 painted the Salim Habib University campus in shades of pink on Thursday, October 6, as students, faculty, and staff all dressed in pink to stand united in the fight against breast cancer.

It is crucial to raise awareness on breast cancer and its impact and to break the stigma that surrounds it, because talking about it, spreading information on it, and making women feel safe and comfortable discussing it will undoubtedly save the lives of millions.
