A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Salim Habib University (SHU) and Pakistan Society for Training and Development (PSTD).

The MoU, initiated by the Career Placement & Industrial Liaison Office SHU, intends to strengthen academia-industry linkages and to bring about both the professional and academic development of SHU students with special focus on upscaling soft skills, IT skills, and digital skills, through the arrangement of workshops, seminars, and similar events that give them exposure, practical learning, a real-time insight into the industry, and the chance to interact with and learn from industry experts.

The MoU Signing Ceremony was presided over by Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan, Vice Chancellor SHU and Adeel Shareef, General Manager & Acting CEO, PSTD. Registrar SHU, Dr. Kaleem Raza Khan, Head of Digital and New Initiatives - PSTD, Mohsin Ahmad Bhatti, and HoD Marketing - PSTD, Farah Fazli, also graced the ceremony with their presence.

Also notably present from Salim Habib Univesity were Dr. Muhammad Hussain Habib, Director Education & Admissions and Director Marketing, HR & Admin, and Dr. Shamaila Burney, Head of Career Placement & Industrial Liaison Office and Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration.
