Salim Habib University Model United Nations (SHUMUN'22), a simulation of the actual United Nations, was a three-day conference held at Salim Habib University from November 25 to 27, 2022.

The conference had delegations from multiple leading schools, colleges, and universities in Karachi, and provided these motivated young leaders with an amazing platform to showcase their potential to work towards attaining global peace using their analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills, to discuss pressing global issues in a productive manner, and to learn the art of diplomacy.

Day 3 of SHUMUN, the last day of the conference, was full of thrilling committee sessions and intense arguments, and culminated in a grand Closing Ceremony, which featured addresses by our Honourable Guest, Mr. Nehal Hashmi, Pakistani Constitutional and Criminal Lawyer, politician, and former Senator, and Professor Dr. Kaleem Raza Khan, Registrar, Salim Habib University. President SHUMUN Sidra Farooq also spoke at the Ceremony, and Secretary-General SHUMUN Naseer Nehal Hashmi addressed the audience as well, declaring the floor officially closed for debate in his speech.

Awards and shields of honour were distributed to winners, participants, and organizers, and a formal dinner was then enjoyed by everyone present.
