Salim Habib University's Sports Society organized a Women's Championship for the first time ever, and the event was a hit by all means!

The Championship, held on Thursday, December 8, 2022, featured cricket, throwball, Tug of War, and a hurdle race, and saw our female students giving their all to win for their teams in the games of their choosing. The energy in the crowd as they cheered for their favourites was a treat to experience!

Notably present were Mr. Muhammad Abbas, Chief Operating Officer, The Salim Habib Education Foundation (TSHEF), Prof. Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan, Vice Chancellor Salim Habib University, Dr. Muhammad Hussain Habib, Director Education & Admissions and Director Marketing, HR & Admin, Salim Habib University, Mr. Umer Farooq, Manager Administration, and Patron, Sports Society, Salim Habib University, and Mian Muhammad Riaz, CEO, Suzuki Riaz Motors. Hafsa Awan, Position Holder of All-Pakistan School and College Girls Throwball Championship for two consecutive years, and internationally-certified throwball coach, was also present.

We are specially thankful to Mr. Kamran K. Qureshi, President Sindh Taekwondo and International Referee, Mr. Khaldoon Raja, Sr. Vice President Sindh Taekwondo and International Coach and Referee, Mr. Faizan Majieed, Coach, and F.K's Taekwondo Family Club (under Sindh Taekwondo), for organizing an awe-inspiring taekwondo demonstration for us and for gracing the event with their presence.
