Barrett Hodgson University’s Art & Literature Society organized a spellbinding event ‘Aaghaz-e-Sehar’ that welcomed and celebrated International and National luminary poets, who weaved a beautiful symphony of words that transcended the evening into a world of sheer trance.
The opening of the event was conducted by Kumail Raza, Student of Management Sciences Department, and President of Arts & Literature Society, who also shared their video with the audience after his note. He then welcomed Dr. Salman Sarwat, Mentor of Arts & Literature Society and Chairperson of Faculty of Management Sciences, on stage to thank him for organizing the evening.
Mr. Abbas Mumtaz hosted the Mushaira and carried out the evening with his gripping poetry.

Amongst these personalities Mr. Tauqeer Taqi, Dr. Ambereen Haseeb Amber truly touched the hearts of the audience. In the end, Mr. Anwar Shaoor, who was also the Sadar-e-mehfil, wowed the audience with his art of spinning a beautiful web of words that truly stimulated the senses of the crowd.
Finally, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Manzoor Anwar Khalidi, Marketing Head, Deans and Faculty were all present to honor the event.
