Barrett Hodgson University’s Department of Computer Science organized a workshop on Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench (LabVIEW) Software for CS students. The trainer who conducted this workshop was Mr. Abdul Rab Nasir, Research and Teaching Associate, Faculty of BE Biomedical Engineering.

LabVIEW is a software development environment and an easy to use interactive graphical programming language which is ideal for engineers and scientists. It is specifically important for Computer Science students because it is a commonly used software in industry for data acquisition, instrument control and industrial automation on variety of operating systems like, Microsoft Windows and various versions of Unix, Linux and macOS.

This was an interactive and informative session which exposed students to LabView block functions, Interfacing of Micro controller with LabView and Real Time monitoring.
