Barrett Hodgson University’s Department of Management Sciences organized a workshop where Guest Speaker Mr. Muntazir Haider, presented on the topic of “Social Entrepreneurship".
Muntazir Haider is currently leading his entrepreneurial venture in UAE and Pakistan. Associated to the world of consultancy and training for nearly a decade now, he has conducted over 400 workshops and training programs in Asia. He has worked with several organizations including Standard Chartered Bank (Dubai), Mashreq Bank (Dubai), Al Ghurair Investments (Dubai), Tim Hortons (Dubai), Pizza Hut (Pakistan), KFC (Pakistan), Waah Brands (Pakistan), Atlas Asset Management (Pakistan), Gerry’s International (Pakistan), AKUH (Pakistan), etc
Today, as the world struggles with multi-faceted problems like poverty, violence, climate change, education disparity, and so much more, social entrepreneurship is spreading like wildfire. The speaker elaborated upon the importance of social entrepreneurship and highlighted some of the increasing challenges social entrepreneurs must overcome.
We were grateful for having him over for an entertaining and informative session that enlightened both our students and faculty members about the challenging world of Social Entrepreneurship.
