Mr. Shahid Iqbal Baloch, Chief Commissioner, Inland Revenue, was invited as the Chief Guest to Salim Habib University, Karachi, on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, for an event on the Contribution of the Large Taxpayers’ Office to National Revenues.

The esteemed guest addressed the University’s students, Faculty, and staff, and also toured the institution’s state-of-the-art campus and its world-class facilities. He also participated in a plantation ceremony.

Dr. Iram Afaq, Chancellor of Salim Habib University, Chief Executive Officer and Founding Member of The Salim Habib Education Foundation, and Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Chairman of Barrett Hodgson Pakistan, spoke at the event, as did Mr. Muhammad Abbas, Chief Operating Officer of The Salim Habib Education Foundation and Director Finance at Salim Habib University.

The grand event was attended by distinguished guests from both academia and industry. Also notably present were Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan, Registrar Prof. Dr. Kaleem Raza Khan, Director Education & Admissions, Marketing, HR & Admin, Dr. Muhammad Hussain Habib, and all Deans, Directors, Chairpersons, and Heads of Departments at Salim Habib University.
