World No-Tobacco Day is observed every year on May 31 to create awareness about the life-threatening dangers of using tobacco, to inform people of the steps being taken by the World Health Organization (WHO) to fight widespread tobacco use, and to let them know how they can join in in the fight against tobacco.
Take this as a sign to quit smoking, or to encourage a loved one to do so. Remember, smoking kills, and passive smoke can be just as fatal.
Commit to quit!
