Today, the 15th of July, is World Youth Skills Day, a day that aims to work towards better socio-economic conditions and a brighter future for all with emphasis on how the youth can contribute to this goal.

For the youth to play a productive role in the world, it is necessary for them to possess the skills and knowledge required to obtain decent jobs, to work efficiently, and to start and maintain successful businesses.

World Youth Skills Day, therefore, works to highlight the importance of equipping our youth with skills, and educating and training them. With the right qualifications, competencies, and guidelines, the youth can change the world!
