Career Confluence, a meetup with counsellors, was held on Thursday, August 17, at Salim Habib University, and was attended by career counsellors, influencers, and representatives from Karachi's leading high schools and colleges.

The attendees enjoyed the event immensely, and were addressed by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan, Dr. Muhammad Hussain Habib, Director Education & Admissions, Marketing, HR & Admin, and Deans of all Faculties, including Prof. Dr. Rizwan Ahmed Khan, Dean, Faculty of Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Rahela Ikram, Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Aqeel Ahmad, Dean, Faculty of Science, Prof. Dr. Zeeshan ul Haque, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, and Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nishat, Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences. Dr. Arshad Mahmood, Chairman, Department of Biosciences, also gave a talk.

The audience then attended an online session by Dr. Shamaila Burney, Head, Career Placement & Industrial Liaison Office and Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, who joined live from Florida, and a talk by Mr. Kumail Raza, Executive Outreach & PR. They then participated actively in a Question and Answer Session aimed at resolving all their queries regarding Fall 2023 Admissions. They were also taken on a tour of the SHU campus.
