FunGala was held at Salim Habib University on Thursday, September 21, 2023, and what a fun day it was!

Painting the SHU campus in bright colours in their 90s-themed outfits, students exhibited the true spirit of an old-school carnival as they enjoyed the rides, games, activities, and variety of food options available for them. 

The Book Fair arranged by our Tariq Amin Library added even more depth and richness to the event, as did the Exchange a Book stall and Art & Calligraphy Exhibition set up by the SHU Arts & Literature Society.

The Inauguration of the Book Fair was held, symbolized by a beautiful Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony conducted by Mr. Tariq Amin, Founding Member of The Salim Habib Education Foundation (TSHEF). Honourable Chancellor Dr. Iram Afaq, Chief Executive Officer & Founding Member of The Salim Habib Education Foundation (TSHEF) and Deputy Chairman of Barrett Hodgson Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd., also graced the ceremony with her presence.

Notably in attendance were Mr. Muhammad Abbas, Executive Director Finance SHU and Chief Operating Officer TSHEF, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan, Registrar Prof. Dr. Kaleem Raza Khan, Executive Director Education, Marketing, HR & Admin, Dr. Muhammad Hussain Habib, and Librarian Ms. Sadia Arshad.
