The multifaceted grand event of Pharmacon 2.0, organized by PharmDeeS, the departmental society of Salim Habib University's Faculty of Pharmacy, as a celebration of this year's World Pharmacists Day, was held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023.

The event featured Guest Speaker Sessions, the esteemed facilitators for which were Dr. Muhammad Shahzad Aslam, Ph.D., M. Phil., and PharmD, who joined live from Malaysia, Dr. Anum Jaffery, RA Manager Novartis, Dr. Razi Uddin Siddqui, Assistant Manager Warehouse GSK, Dr. Mazhar Shah, Chief Pharmacist Baqai University Hospital, Dr. Rehma Akram Khan, Packaging Lab Manager GSK, Dr. Hasnain Ali, Product Lead GSK, and Dr. Samar Abbas, QAM Novartis. 

Prof. Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan, Vice Chancellor SHU, and Prof. Dr. Rahela Ikram, Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, SHU, addressed the audience as well.

The event also included a challenging yet fun Quiz Competition, in which the audience participated wholeheartedly. A highly entertaining play was performed by Pharmacy students, and the PharmDeeS annual magazine was launched.

Pharmacon 2.0 concluded with a Prize Distribution Ceremony in which awards were given to winners of the Poster Competition held on September 21.
