A meetup of Sports Heads and representatives of sports from leading educational institutions in Karachi was organized by Salim Habib University’s Sports Department on Friday, November 17, 2023.

The meetup, which also included a Networking Lunch, successfully initiated a productive discussion and talks of collaboration to improve the system of athletics at schools, colleges, and universities in the city, with the end-goal of promoting sports and providing exciting opportunities to young and budding athletes.

Dr. Muhammad Hussain Habib, Executive Director Education, Marketing, HR & Admin SHU, addressed the audience at the event, as did Mr. Umer Farooq, Manager Administration and Head of Sports Society, Mr. Ahmed Bilal, Sports Officer, and Mr. Kumail Raza, Executive Outreach & PR.

Our esteemed guests were also taken on a tour of Salim Habib University's campus and facilities. 

Notably present were representatives from the Institute of Business Management, MiTE, University of Karachi, Nixor College, Karachi Grammar School, Beaconhouse School System, The City School, Habib Public School, Credo College, Whales College, Scepter College, Alpha College, Bahria College, NJV College, and A.R.G. Govt. College, as well as Mr. Syed Asadullah Aleem, International Coach Badminton (KPT), Secretary General Sindh Ringball Association, and District Sports Officers of the East, West, North, South, Malir, and Central regions.
