World Cancer Day is observed globally every year on February 4 in order to raise awareness of the deadly disease that is cancer, and to encourage coming together and putting all hands on deck to fight it.
The day aims to not only spread knowledge about cancer, but also to encourage its prevention, to promote its early detection and treatment, and to rally support for its victims.
Every day, we are moving closer towards finding a cure for cancer. Let’s hope and pray that the day is not far when we live in a cancer-free world.
