Industrial Symposium: Industry-Alumni Connect 2024, an event organized by Salim Habib University's IEEE Student Branch and generously funded by a grant from the IEEE Young Professionals' Student Transition and Elevation Partnership (STEP) program, took place on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.

The event included mock interviews conducted by industry experts as well as round table discussions and sessions featuring highly qualified and experienced professionals offering insights into the unique features and future trajectory of the biomedical engineering industry.

Invited speakers for the event were Engr. Adil Rehman, General Manager, Medinostic Healthcare (Pvt.) Ltd., Mr. Akbar Allana, Director, Alsons Group of Industries, Ms. Rahmeen Urooj, Manager Essa Lab & Exchange Ambassador Pakistan US Alumni Network, and Engr. Ashfaque Baloch, Senior Lecturer Ziaddun University & Branch Counselor IEEE ZU Student Branch. Engr. Manzoor Shaikh, Director Industry-Academia Collaboration, Alsons Group of Industries, also graced the event with his presence.
