ROBOFEST 2024, an exciting Robotics Competition organized by the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Salim Habib University, and the IEEE SHU Student Branch, in collaboration with IEEE Young Professionals and IEEE Mentoring Meet, took place on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

Students from leading schools, colleges, and universities in Karachi participated in this futuristic competition, which featured three categories; Robo Sumo, Line Following Robot, and Robo Race. A highly impressive Robot Showcase was also one of the highlights of the event.

The event concluded with a Closing Ceremony, at which addresses were presented by special guests Dr. M. Ahmed Khan, Scientific Research Scholar, Stanford University, USA, and Advocate Saima Agha, Member Provincial Assembly and Parliamentary Secretary for Sports and Youth Affairs.
