Syed Taha Ahmed, Sakina Ateeque, Ghasif Zain, and Zargham Baig, Pharmacy graduates from Salim Habib University, were shortlisted to present their research projects at the 8th DICE DUHS (Distinguished Innovations, Collaborations and Entrepreneurship) Exhibition at Dow University of Health Sciences, under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Ali Qazi, Lecturer Pharmacy, Dr. Jamshed Arsalan, Assistant Professor Pharmacy, and Ms. Sumbal Saeed, Lecturer Pharmacy.
Their research projects included:
• Deferrosorb – A transdermal patch designed for beta-thalassemia patients.
• Glycozen Tea – A non-pharmacological treatment option for Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
• Salider Soap – A specially formulated soap targeting acne-prone skin.
