  • Candidates must have MPhil/MS equivalent qualifications in Management Sciences.
  • Minimum 60% marks/CGPA 3.00 from an HEC-recognized institution.
  • Clear the SHU Admissions Test & Interview or HAT Subject as per HEC criteria.

 

Degree Requirements

  • 18 Credit Hours: 15 in coursework and 3 in independent research study based on specialization, to be completed within 2-6 semesters.
  • Comprehensive Examination: Passing a comprehensive exam at the end of the coursework.
  • PhD Research Proposal Defense: Successful defense of the PhD research proposal within 3-6 semesters.
  • Thesis Research: Completion of 30 credit hours of thesis research.
  • Publication: Publication of research paper(s) from the thesis in an HEC-approved HJRS journal.
  • Thesis Evaluation: Successful evaluation of the thesis by a local or foreign evaluator as per HEC criteria.
  • Public Defense: Successful public defense of the final PhD thesis.
  • Fulfillment of any other guidelines stipulated by HEC. Consecutive unsatisfactory evaluations over three semesters may lead to admission cancellation.
