“Prof. Dr. Sheikh Muhammad Munaf is an academic leader, researcher, and technology strategist with extensive experience in higher education management, innovation ecosystems, and industry–academia collaboration. With a strong background in Computer Science and Software Engineering, he has consistently worked to transform academic environments into high-performance, innovation-driven platforms that prepare students to become technology leaders and entrepreneurs rather than job seekers.

Currently serving as Dean, Faculty of Information Technology, he focuses on strengthening applied research, commercialization of academic projects, startup incubation, and strategic industry partnerships. His leadership philosophy integrates academic rigor with business-driven management, ensuring measurable outcomes in research productivity, accreditation standards, student development, and institutional growth.

Dr. Munaf Rashid has spearheaded initiatives in AI, emerging technologies, outcome-based education (OBE), and innovation-led curriculum design. He actively promotes product-oriented student projects, commercialization pathways, and venture engagement to bridge the gap between academia and market needs.
