Breaking Barriers Phase 1 Success Celebration at SHU

A special gathering was held at Salim Habib University on Friday, July 25, 2025, to celebrate the successful completion of Phase 1 of Breaking Barriers, the Pakistan Made Movement’s first landmark event. This event was held on June 14, 2025, in collaboration with Salim Habib University (SHU), Drug Regulatory Authority in Pakistan (DRAP), Saman-e-Shifa Foundation (SSF), and AIKA Technology.

The event featured a special cake-cutting ceremony, attended by a distinguished group of medical professionals, academicians, industry experts, innovators, and policy makers, including Engr. Riasat Ali Changezi, Chairman R&D SSF, Prof. Dr. Syed Shahid Noor, Chairman SSF and Vice Chancellor SHU, Prof. Dr. Syed Irfan Hyder. Other notably present from SHU were Registrar, Dr. Muhammad Hussain Habib, and representatives from SHU’s Department of Biomedical Engineering. This occasion symbolized the collaborative efforts and commitment from all parties, as they now look forward to overcoming the challenges of Phase 2 and continuing their journey to reshape Pakistan’s healthcare sector.
