Har Lamha Masoomana with Waseem Badami

On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, CS Cube, the Computer Science club at Salim Habib University (SHU), in collaboration with the Student Affairs Department, successfully organized Har Lamha Masoomana with Waseem Badami – a thought-provoking and engaging one-on-one talk on Ethics in Media: Respect, Responsibility, and Communication Skills.

This exclusive opportunity, which featured renowned television journalist and program host Mr. Waseem Badami, was intended to encourage meaningful and insightful dialogue about the role of media, particularly amid crises. During the talk, Mr. Waseem Badami shared his perspectives on the challenges of modern-era media, such as the spread of misinformation and fake news, and emphasized the importance of ethical and unbiased reporting in today’s evolving media landscape.

The event was hosted by CS Cube President and Computer Science student, Mr. Syed Enayat Hussain Jaun, whose thoughtful moderation added more depth to the discussion. An interactive Q&A session further enriched the event as participants engaged with Mr. Waseem Badami and gained valuable insights into media ethics and effective communication skills.
