ICPPS-25-Pre-Conference Workshop: Computer-Aided Drug Design and In-Silico Approaches for Therapeutic Drug Development

The Faculty of Pharmacy, Salim Habib University, successfully organized a one-day Pre-Conference Workshop on May 21, 2025, as part of the 1st International Conference on Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences (ICPPS-25).

The workshop titled Computer-Aided Drug Design and In-Silico Approaches for Therapeutic Drug Development, aimed at exploring and understanding the core concepts of molecular docking and protein-ligand interaction mechanisms and hands-on training with AutoDock software and performing basic docking experiments, was conducted by Prof. Dr. Somia Gul and Ms. Iqra Rehman, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Jinnah University for Women, Karachi, and moderated by Ms. Saba Razzak, Lecturer, Faculty of Pharmacy, SHU.
