Rang-e-Adab

The two-day Literature and Culture Festival organized by the Salim Habib University Tariq Amin Library and the Student Affairs Arts & Literature Society took place from April 24 to 25, 2025.

The event kicked off with a vibrant Book Fair, featuring stalls that offered a wide variety of fictional, non-fictional, and academic books that were a treat for bibliophiles. The Inauguration of the Book Fair, symbolized by a beautiful Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony conducted by the esteemed Mr. Tariq Amin, Founding Member of The Salim Habib Education Foundation (TSHEF), also took place.

A live Calligraphy Competition was held as well, in which students enthusiastically showcased their artistic skills.

The main highlight of the festival was Rang-e-Sufiyana, featuring the enthralling maestro Qawwal Ashfaq Hussain and group, who mesmerized the audience with the melodious music of qawwali.

The event also featured Rang-e-Funoon, Cultural and Stage Performances by students which brought together in harmony all the rich cultures of Pakistan.

A mesmerizing Adabi Mushaira with student poets as well as the beloved poets Prof. Dr. Mansoor-uz-Zafar Dawood, Vice Chancellor Ilma University, Kashif Hussain Ghaair, Naeem Sameer, Daniyal Ismail, Shahzaib Khan, Qudsia Zaidi, and Syed Saim Gardezi, who captivated the audience with their eloquence and emotion, also added to the richness of the event.
