Robotics and Intelligent Systems Students Visit Indus Motor Company Ltd

First-year Robotics and Intelligent Systems students at Salim Habib University were taken on an industrial visit to Indus Motor Company Ltd., on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, under the supervision of Mr. M. Wasim Munir, Assistant Professor, and Engr. Hassan Ali, Senior Lecturer, Department of Biomedical Engineering, SHU. The visit gave students valuable exposure to observe the advanced robotic and automation manufacturing equipment and gained insights into how intelligent systems are deployed in a large-scale production environment.

Mr. Ahad Motasim Lodi, Production Engineer, Indus Motor Company Ltd., also provided a thorough walkthrough of the plant, explained the underlying processes and technologies employed in modern automobile manufacturing, and addressed students’ queries regarding system integration, automation efficiency, and real-time process control.
