Rise Beyond Barriers – an engaging one-day Career Vision Seminar, organized by our Arts & Literature Society and the Student Affairs Department, in collaboration with KEY to Success, was held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.

Mr. Lutaf Ali Mangrio, Director Operations, Sindh Integrated Emergency & Health Services, was the Chief Guest for the grand event, while distinguished guests from academia, including representatives from dedicated NGOs like Hunar Foundation, also attended the event.

The dynamic event featured keynote speeches by academicians and interactive activities designed to explore career paths, productivity hacks, time management strategies, leadership ethics, and team collaboration, all aimed at inspiring and empowering the youth of Karachi.

Prominent attendees from Salim Habib University were Prof. Dr. Irfan Hyder, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Amanat Ali Jalbani, Advisor to the Vice Chancellor and Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, Mr. Mohammad Ekhlaque Ahmed, Chairperson, Department of Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Management Sciences, Director Admissions & Outreach, and Director Center for AoL & Experiential Learning, Dr. Rehan Butt, Assistant Professor & Manager, University-Industrial Linkages & Technology, Mr. Mustehsen Ahmed Vahidy, Senior Manager Admissions & Administration, and Mr. Asif Yaqoob, Deputy Manager Marketing & Student Affairs, also graced their presence at the event.

The First Inter-Universities Futsal Championship 2025 was organized by Indus University at KMC Sports Complex, Maidan Court, from September 2 to 3, 2025. Futsal enthusiasts from various leading universities across Karachi participated, showcasing remarkable talent and passion for the sport.

We are thrilled to announce that Salim Habib University’s Futsal Team, coached by Mr. Ahmed Bilal, Incharge Sports Officer SHU, has won the championship by defeating Iqra University in the finals.

Khul Ke Khel – the exhilarating five-day Inter College & Inter University Sports Fest, organized by Salim Habib University’s Sports Society, took place from September 29-October 3, 2025.

The grand event, which brought together top schools and colleges from across Karachi, featured five exciting game categories: Futsal, Throwball, Volleyball, Table Tennis, and Chess, and was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for young athletes and sports enthusiasts to showcase their skills, fine-tune their talents, and give it their all to win.

The closing ceremony of this event, held at Dr. Iram Auditorium, Fatima Business School, SHU, on Monday, October 6, 2025, was attended by renowned and celebrated Table Tennis player Ms. Nazo Shakoor, as the Guest of Honor. Vice Chancellor Salim Habib University, Prof. Dr. Irfan Hyder, Registrar Dr. Muhammad Hussain Habib, Sports In-charge Mr. Ahmed Bilal, Deans, HoDs, and other members of the University management, faculty, and staff also graced the event with their presence.
