One of the most notable highlights of the ceremony was unveiling a 106’ x 45’ Flag of Pakistan from the top of the Fatima Business School building on the garden side, showering rose petals, creating a breathtaking moment that captured the attention of all in attendance.

Notably present to commemorate the occasion were Mr. Muhammad Abbas, Chief Operating Officer, The Salim Habib Education Foundation (TSHEF), Registrar SHU Dr. Muhammad Hussain Habib, the honorable Deans of all Faculties at SHU, and the Heads of the Departments. All of the SHU faculty and staff members were also present and participated wholeheartedly in the festivities.

A successful Plantation Drive was also held on campus, with enthusiastic participation from SHU’s management, faculty, and staff members, which symbolizes our commitment to environmental sustainability and community engagement.

The celebrations continued with Rang-e-Watan, a vibrant and energetic event, held at Dr. Iram Auditorium, Fatima Business School, which featured various activities, including debates, quiz competitions, drama performances, and more. SHU’s faculty and staff participated with full energy and enthusiasm, creating an atmosphere of unity.

The celebration concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony, which brought together faculty, staff, and guests in a moment of unity and joy.

We wish Pakistan and all fellow Pakistanis a very happy Independence Day. May our magnificent country live long!
