SHU Film Festival 2025

SHU Film Festival 2025, an exciting and vibrant event that provided cinephiles with an incredible opportunity to showcase their passion and talent for filmmaking across multiple categories, was organized by Salim Habib University’s Student Affairs Department and our Marketing & Media Society, and was held on December 4, 2025, in the MBB Auditorium.

The event, which showcased an impressive lineup of short films and an intense Ad War exploring unique concepts, social themes, and creative narratives, captivated the audience, who remained engaged and appreciated the depth, creativity, and technical finesse reflected in each production.

The panel of esteemed judges included notable figures from the media and entertainment industry, namely Mr. Tasawar ul Karim Baig, Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Tili Productions (pvt) Ltd., Mr. Mehdi Hassan, Artist & Media 360 Expert, Mr. Mohsin Talat, Director, and Ms. Saima Akram Chaudhry, Screenwriter, whose presence brought valuable industry insight, and their feedback offered students meaningful guidance and encouragement.

In addition, the festival featured cultural performances, including live music that added vibrancy and energy to the evening.

Notably present from SHU were Dr. Muhammad Hussain Habib, Registrar, Mr. Asif Yaqoob, Deputy Manager Marketing & Student Affairs, and staff and faculty members.
