World Pharmacists Day Awareness Walk at Aga Khan University Hospital

The Faculty of Pharmacy at Salim Habib University, in collaboration with Aga Khan University Hospital, organized a meaningful Awareness Walk in honour of this year’s World Pharmacists Day, with the theme of ‘Think Health, Think Pharmacist’ on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Aga Khan University Hospital.

The event successfully brought together healthcare professionals, faculty, and students to raise public awareness about the vital role pharmacists play in delivering safe, effective, and accessible healthcare worldwide. A key highlight of the event was a cake-cutting ceremony, symbolizing our shared commitment to recognising pharmacists’ expertise, dedication, and impact.

Notably present from SHU were Prof. Dr. Irfan Hyder, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Muhammad Hussain Habib, Registrar, Prof. Dr. Noor Kamil, Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Shamaila Burney, Associate Professor, Department of Business Administration & Head of Career Place & Industrial Liaison Officer (CPILO), and Mr. Asif Yaqoob, Deputy Manager Marketing & Student Affairs.
