We are delighted to share that Computer Science students from Salim Habib University have secured Second Position at the DSSE Symposium for Undergraduate Research 2025 (DURS 2025), organized by Habib University, Karachi, on Wednesday, May 21, 2025.
Our student team, consisting of Dawood Rehman and Muhammad Hamza, presented their innovative research project titled Pulse Whisper – PCG-to-ECG Signal Conversion via Hybrid Modeling for Cardiac Monitoring at the symposium organized by Dhanani School of Science and Engineering (DSSE) and were awarded second prize for their outstanding work. Ms. Sumra Khan, Lecturer, Faculty of Information Technology, Salim Habib University, supervised their prize-winning project.
Several other cutting-edge and ground-breaking research projects created by students from our Computer Science Department were also shortlisted to be presented at the symposium.
