Workshop on Disaster and Crisis Management

Salim Habib University, in collaboration with Youth Intelligentsia, organized a Disaster and Crisis Management Workshop on November 17, 2025.

The workshop conducted by Mr. Abdul Rehman, Operation Manager, Alkhidmat Rescue, Dr. Adnan, Dr. Rafiullah and team, representatives from Rescue 1122, was aimed at enhancing students’ preparedness for emergency situations by equipping them with essential knowledge and practical skills related to disaster response, first aid, crisis communication, and community safety.

Attendees had a great time learning about the principles of effective disaster management, the importance of timely coordination between responders and communities, and the role of rescue organizations during critical events.
