World AIDS Day

World AIDS Day is held annually on December 1 to unite in support of those suffering from HIV-AIDS and to remember those who have lost their lives to it.It has been forty years since AIDS was first reported and still, it prevails. Experts believe that emphasis on HIV prevention and treatment and reduction of economic and social inequalities is the only way we can hope to wipe out this deadly disease in the coming years, and encourage prioritizing the same on an urgent basis.
