World Liver Day, observed every year on the 19th of April to raise awareness about liver-related diseases, highlights how crucial for survival the liver is, and how important it is to take care of it.The liver performs various functions associated with digestion, immunity, metabolism, and the storage of nutrients within the body.  Everything we ingest, including medicine, passes through the liver, and it is impossible to survive without it. Therefore, it is imperative that we take good care of our livers, because they can easily get damaged and make life drastically difficult.
