World Tuberculosis Day is marked on the 24th of March as a day reserved to raise awareness about the consequences of tuberculosis (TB), and to encourage the public to invest in efforts to free our world of this catastrophic disease.TB is a prevailing global epidemic with disastrous health, social, and economic consequences, and it is past time that we come together to bring it to an end. We need to fight this terrible disease as a community, and to ensure that work for its prevention and cure is given due importance.Invest to end TB, save lives!
