Happy Pakistan Day from Salim Habib University!On this day, the 23rd of March, in 1940, the Muslim League’s annual session was held in Lahore, and there, a historical resolution was presented that paved the way for the creation of our beloved Pakistan. In this resolution, Muslims officially demanded all Muslim-majority areas of land and rejected all other proposed ways to resolve the issue. Our Founder Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah stated, ‘’We should have a State in which we could live and breathe as free men and which we could develop according to our own lights and culture and where principles of Islamic social justice could find free play.’’ May Allah protect our beautiful country from harm and bless it with peace and prosperity.
