SHU Students Secure Second Place at DURS 2025 for Pulse Whisper Project

We are proud to announce that Dawood Rehman and Muhammad Hamza, students of Salim Habib University, secured 2nd Prize in the Best Poster Category at the Dhanani Undergraduate Research Symposium (DURS) 2025. Their project, titled "Pulse Whisper – PCG-to-ECG Signal Conversion via Hybrid Modeling for Cardiac Monitoring," was carried out under the supervision of Miss Sumra Khan. The project stood out for its innovative use of hybrid modeling to convert heart sound signals (PCG) into ECG signals—offering a promising, low-cost solution for non-invasive cardiac monitoring. This outstanding achievement highlights the creativity, hard work, and research excellence fostered at Salim Habib University. Congratulations to the team and their supervisor!
