WIBCON 2026

Salim Habib University was a Support Sponsor at WIBCON 2026, a Women in Business and Leadership Conference organized by the Pakistan Society for Training and Development, which took place in Karachi at the Pearl Continental Hotel on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.

The conference, which welcomed 1000+ women from all walks of life and was attended by representatives from multiple leading corporations, as well as dignitaries, highlighted and celebrated the notable achievements of iconic female leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals in Pakistan.

Notably present at the event from Salim Habib University were Dr. Shamaila Burney, Head of the Center for Industry Linkages & Placements (CILP) and Associate Professor of Business Administration, Ms. Saba Razzak, Lecturer, Faculty of Pharmacy, Ms. Anza Sana, Coordinator, Faculty of Science, Ms. Sababa Baig, Assistant Marketing & Student Affairs, and Ms. Aqsa Rafiq, Management Trainee Officer. The event was also attended by over 25 students from various faculties, as well as SHU alumni, showing the university community’s keen interest in professional development, networking, and industry engagement.
