Introduction
Bachelor of Science in Dermatology & Aesthetic Sciences (BS-DAS) is a four-year undergraduate degree designed to prepare scientifically competent, technically skilled and ethically responsible professionals for the rapidly expanding fields of dermatological sciences, aesthetic care, skin health, cosmetic technology and non-invasive aesthetic procedures.
The program integrates the scientific foundations of human anatomy and physiology, skin biology, dermatology, pathology, microbiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, cosmetic science, aesthetic technology, laser and light-based technologies, skin-care procedures, cosmetic formulation, clinical safety, infection prevention, research and entrepreneurship.
BS-DAS can go beyond a conventional aesthetics/cosmetology degree by bringing together four interconnected domains: Dermatological Science + Aesthetic Technology + Cosmetic Science + Entrepreneurship
