The Faculty of Pharmacy, Salim Habib University, in collaboration with the Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN), hosted the Pre-ICON 2026 Scientific Session, titled Synergy in Support: Navigating the Transition from Parenteral to Enteral Nutrition – A Post-Surgical Recovery Case Study, on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Auditorium 1, Fatima Business School.
As part of the 8th Biennial ICON 2026 Conference, the session brought together clinical experts from nutrition, pharmacy, and nursing to discuss multidisciplinary approaches to patient care and post-surgical recovery. Ms. Hareem Syed, Senior Clinical Dietitian, Mr. Sheikh Muhammad Saad, Clinical Pharmacist, Mr. Muhammad Mubeen, Clinical Nursing Instructor, and Ms. Shanzay Nadeem, Clinical Dietitian, Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN), emphasized that collaborative, cross-disciplinary care is key to supporting patients through nutritional transitions and achieving optimal recovery outcomes.
