Hands-On Training Workshop titled From Awareness to Action: Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Support

The Department of Psychology, Faculty of Management Sciences, Salim Habib University, organized a Hands-On Training Workshop titled From Awareness to Action: Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Support on Thursday, October 8, 2026, as part of its ongoing mental health awareness initiatives.

The workshop, conducted by Ms. Sanober Naqvi, Senior Lecturer, Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET), Clinical Psychologist & Certified NLP Practitioner and Hypnotherapist, focused on recognizing signs of emotional distress, understanding suicide prevention strategies, and equipping participants with practical approaches to providing mental health support and responding to mental health concerns with empathy and care.
