Noor-e-Saqafat

Noor-e-Saqafat, a celebration of local culture, was held at Salim Habib University on Thursday, November 30, 2023, and painted the SHU campus in beautiful, vibrant colours, each of them coming together to create a harmony of all the rich cultures that Pakistan boasts.

The Salim Habib University community had a great time at this event organized by the SHU Event Society and Arts & Literature Society, and spent their evening watching beautiful cultural and theatric performances, indulging in the games and activities planned for them, and treating themselves to the myriad of desi food options available for them. There was also kite-flying, which added bright bursts of colour to an already rich evening.

The highlight of the day, hands down, was the enthralling Qawwali event featuring Waqar & Ashfaq Hussain of the Ashfaq Brothers, which entranced the audience and gave them the melodic experience of a lifetime.
