Seminar on “Protection Against Harassment at the Workplace” Promotes Awareness and Empowerment at SHU

The Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace (FOSPAH), Karachi Regional Office team, in collaboration with Salim Habib University, conducted an engaging seminar titled Protection Against Harassment at the Workplace, at Dr. Iram Auditorium, Fatima Business School, on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

The seminar, led by Ms. Fauzia Viqar, Federal Ombudsperson for Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace, Ms. Sabika Shah, Regional Head (Sindh), Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment at Workplace, Mr. Muhammad Aliyan, Assistant Law Officer for FOSPAH, and Ms. Sidra Altaf, Assistant Registrar, aimed at raising awareness about workplace harassment laws, educating participants on their rights and reporting mechanisms, and promoting a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment for all.

Our students, faculty, and staff actively participated in this interactive discussion, marking a significant step toward empowering our community and reinforcing our commitment to a zero-tolerance policy on harassment.
