Prof. Dr. Amanat Ali Jalbani

Prof. Dr. Amanat Ali Jalbani is a distinguished academic leader with over four decades of experience in higher education, research, and institutional governance. His career spans strategic management, financial turnarounds, and the founding and development of several leading universities in Pakistan. As a researcher and mentor, he has guided graduate study and editorial practice across multiple disciplines, and currently provides strategic direction as Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Business and Social Dynamics (IJBSD), upholding international standards of peer review, research integrity, and scholarly quality.

Editorial Role

As Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Business and Social Dynamics (IJBSD), Dr. Jalbani provides strategic and editorial leadership for the journal’s double-blind peer-review process, ensuring rigorous quality control, publication ethics, and international standards of scholarly dissemination in business and social sciences.

Key Achievements

• Financial Turnaround: As Vice Chancellor of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Nawabshah (2020–2024), transformed a deficit budget into a surplus of approximately Rs. 1.5 billion and secured an HEC development project worth Rs. 1.4 billion. Also served as Acting Vice Chancellor of Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, for an interim period at the request of the Chief Minister of Sindh.
• Institutional Development: Played a pivotal role in establishing and developing several universities and their academic programs, including Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Nawabshah, IBA Sukkur, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST) University, Institute of Business Management (IoBM), Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), and Isra University.
• Policy & Governance: Developed university code books, MS/MPhil/PhD manuals, and various academic policies. Served on numerous academic bodies, including the General Council of the University of Edinburgh.
