Today, August 21, is World Senior Citizen’s Day, a day that aims to raise awareness about the issues faced by the elderly and to eradicate elder abuse. Senior citizens are a valuable part of society, and should be treated as such. Their knowledge, experience, and wisdom can go a long way towards improving societal conditions, and they deserve to be given love, care, respect, and dignity.
