In Pakistan, tea isn’t just a drink, it’s an emotion! Tea is ingrained into our daily routines, a firmly established tradition when it comes to serving guests, and a beloved ritual in many of our festivals and special occasions. International Tea Day, therefore, is of special meaning to us. This day is observed to pay tribute to tea workers and to make efforts to improve their working conditions, as well as to acknowledge the long, rich history, and cultural and economic significance of tea.
