Third-Year PharmD Students Visit Afzaal Memorial Thalassemia Foundation for Community Engagement

Third-year Doctor of Pharmacy students at Salim Habib University visited the Afzaal Memorial Thalassemia Foundation (AMTF) on April 29–30, 2026, as part of an educational and community engagement initiative.

The visit provided students with valuable insights into thalassemia, its impact on patients and their families, and the challenges of managing the condition, and fostered compassion, social responsibility, and a deeper understanding of the importance of voluntary blood donation.
